The Attainment Project is working to develop an outdoor community for survivors of abuse to feel welcome and heard
Anyone can be abusive and anyone can be the victim of abuse. Abuse happens regardless of gender, age, sexuality, race, economic status, ability, citizenship status, etc. Feelings of confusion, fear, or anger are normal responses to abuse, but they may also make you feel isolated or like no one will understand. It’s important to remember that you are not alone and there are resources to help you.
Every 68 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. Every 9 minutes, that victim is a child. Only 25 out of every 1,000 perpetrators will end up in prison.
Your donations will be used to purchase sporting equipment to help introduce survivors to new and fun sports, maintain our website, and help spread awareness of how sports like whitewater kayaking can help trauma survivors cope.
